A member of the country’s most influential hairdressing dynasty, fourth-generation colourist Daniel Galvin Jr was mixing hair colour when other children were doing finger paintings. He is now at the forefront of colour expertise as one of the world’s most sought after colourists.
Daniel Galvin Jr began working for Jose Eber in Beverley Hills, where his regular clients included Hollywood elite including Paula Abdul, Belinda Carlisle and Sharon Osborne. In 2008, he decided to work from a private studio and travel the world for private clients. Daniel opened his first boutique salon in the elegant area of Belgravia, London in the early 1990s and in 2017 opened his second salon at the prestigious Lanesborough hotel on Hyde Park Corner.
As well as his salons and private clients, Daniel has been a pioneer of the organic movement since 2002 when he was personally asked by HRH The Prince of Wales to launch its Duchy Organics hair care collection. His passion for organic is also felt in salon where there is an array of treatments and products that are both sustainable and well-sourced.
Daniel Galvin Jr is a patron to The Prince’s Trust which aims to help and improve young lives for the better. An experienced television hair expert, Daniel has appeared on GMTV and OK! TV and his salon is regularly featured in E4’s Made In Chelsea.
An amateur boxer and a passionate sportsman, Daniel divides his time between his homes in London and Worcestershire where he lives with his wife and business partner of 12 years, beautiful interior designer, Suzanna. He is stepfather to Raphael and father to Rhett.
