A member of the country’s most influential hairdressing dynasty, fourth-generation colourist Daniel Galvin Jr M.B.E. was mixing hair colour when other children were doing finger paintings. He is now at the forefront of colour expertise as one of the world’s most sought after colourists.

Daniel Galvin Jr M.B.E. began working for Jose Eber in Beverley Hills, where his regular clients included Hollywood elite including Paula Abdul, Belinda Carlisle and Sharon Osborne. In 2008, he decided to work from a private studio and travel the world for private clients. Daniel opened his first boutique salon in the elegant area of Belgravia, London in the early 1990s.

As well as his salons and private clients, Daniel has been a pioneer of the organic movement since 2002 when he was personally asked by HRH The Prince of Wales to launch its Duchy Organics hair care collection. His passion for organic is also felt in salon where there is an array of treatments and products that are both sustainable and well-sourced.

Daniel Galvin Jr M.B.E. is a patron to The Prince’s Trust which aims to help and improve young lives for the better. It gives practical as well as financial support by developing key workplace skills such as confidence and motivation building. Daniel Galvin Jr M.B.E. is in the salon daily, looking after his loyal clients and numerous celebrity regulars including Kelly Brook, Amanda Holden, Holly Valance, Danielle Lineker, Louis Walsh and Trevor Eve. An experienced television hair expert, Daniel has appeared on GMTV and OK! TV and his salon is regularly featured in E4’s Made In Chelsea.

An amateur boxer and a passionate sportsman, Daniel divides his time between his homes in London and Worcestershire where he lives with his wife and business partner of 12 years, beautiful interior designer, Suzanna. He is stepfather to Raphael and father to Rhett.

In 2020 Daniel was awarded an M.B.E. for his longstanding work as an ambassador the Princes trust and work with Highgrove for over 20 years.


Hairdresser for more than 25 years, Zacharie has trained in Paris and New York .For many years in worked in fashion and TV as well as the more renowned salons in the French capital. Passionate with his job since the beginning, he always try to improve his technique, it was during a work trip that he fell in love with London and decided to settle down. Using his skills and techniques, he doesn’t only cut hair but consider the bone structure and face shape of everyone to create a unique style for every client Zacharie and Daniel Galvin Jr have worked together many times, naturally, after all the travel, Zacharie is ready to come home and would only work for the Best.

Debbie Bateson

Debbie trained at Molton Brown’s iconic South Molton Street salon. It was at that glamorous spot in Mayfair that she really learnt her craft and found her calling. In her first week at Molton Brown, she met Sam McKnight and they trained together in the Molton Brown way of natural finger drying and beautiful hair cutting together. A great lifelong friendship ensued and Debbie could not have been prouder when Sam asked Debbie to take over styling Princess Diana’s hair, when his career took him to New York.

Debbie and the Galvin family have long had a mutual professional respect and friendship which dates back to when Debbie worked in Daniel Galvin Snr’s Salon for over eight years, cutting and styling many celebrity clients, including models, musicians and stars of television and film. At times working for such high profile clients involved working and traveling abroad.

Today Debbie continues to provide all clients with a high level of service, all clients benefit from her talent and experience. Her impeccable eye for detail with a personal warmth and sense of humour that has led her to form lifelong friendships with so many of her clients.Many of her clients say Debbie is like a friend who thinks more about the health,cut and look of their hair more than they do!

Around six years ago, Debbie introduced one of her clients to Daniel Galvin Jr for some colour treatment and after entering the salon and feeling the warm vibe, the friendly, hard working staff and the enchantment of Daniels glamorous salon, she immediately made it clear that she wanted to work there. After a long career in both London and Australia, she recalls that it felt like coming home.So it is now where Debbie brings her London clientele and also accepts bookings through the DG Jr Salon.

James Brunt, Creative Director
Bringing 19 years of experience to his new position at Daniel Galvin Jr. James started his career at Nicky Clarke as a junior and swiftly worked his way through the ranks. Since joining the team in 2000 James enjoyed a career of salon clients, celebrities, royalty, fashion shows, international photo shoots and campaigns for big brands. He is now bringing his experience, creative flair and expertise to his new role as Creative Director here at Daniel Galvin Jr.

Joseph Bilton, Stylist
Joe has worked alongside Daniel for over ten years getting great enjoyment out of giving his clients the best experience possible and styles tailored specifically to them.
Joe has been involved in hairdressing since he was 14, working on photoshoots, editorials, catwalk shows and celebrity clientele. Joe is well known for bringing excitement, enthusiasm and knowledge into the DGJ team.

Jessie Goodchild, Stylist

Jessie Goodchild works as a full-time stylist at Daniel Galvin Jr. She is obsessed with fashion and is an expert in precision cutting, blow and restyles.

Lenny Lenihan – Senior Style Director
Lenny has been cutting and styling hair for over 12 years at Nicky Clarkes London, he then moved up to Daniel Galvin Jr where he has been part of the team for the past 3 and a half years. He created looks for magazine covers and also worked on music videos with prestigious music artists. Lenny loves his job and still gets great satisfaction from making his clients look and feel amazing. His aim is to talk you through the styling process to inspire you to create the same beautiful look at home.

Tom Greenhouse – Style Director
Tom has been a stylist for over 10 years, he has been hairdressing from the age of 16 and enjoys all aspects of the industry, from salon based work meeting new people every day to more fashion and editorial work. Tom’s passion for fashion was his main reason for getting involved in the industry.
He has a creative mind, great attention to detail and always looks to achieve that perfect haircut and style for his clients.

Tom learnt his profession at Nicky Clarke’s Mayfair salon, during which time he was Nicky’s assistant and worked on various photo shoots, adverts and was also involved in London Fashion Week.

Fatima Burhan – Top Stylist
Fatima has worked at Daniel Galvin Jr salon for the past 4 years but has been in the hairdressing industry for 15 years, she was trained at Neville hair and beauty salon by all the best hair dressers in that era.

Fatima loves hairdressing because she likes to make people look and feel good about themselves, making a change in their lives. Her style of hair dressing is classic but glamorous and she is inspired by styles from 20s, 50s, 60s, 70s and modern day.
She has worked and contributed to photo shoots in London, Monaco, Berlin, Majorca, Madagascar and Vietnam.

Oli Brady – Stylist
Oli has been part of the team since 2012 and has quickly become a firm favourite amongst clients. His relaxed approach means clients always feel comfortable in his chair. Ollie has an ability for combining contemporary cutting techniques with classic finishes allowing his clients to create natural, effortless styles at home.

Amanda Sheridan – Colour Director
Amanda has over 20 years’ experience as a colourist. She first started in Harrods and after 3 years moved onto Daniel Galvin. Amanda then moved up to Daniel Galvin Jr where she has been working for over 20 years. She takes great pride in every look she creates and enjoys the diversity every client brings to her chair.

Grace – Principal Colour Technician
Starting at Daniel Galvin at the age of 15, Grace has 8 years experience colouring hair, specialising in textured, curly hair, beautiful sun kissed blondes. Grace provides bespoke colour services to all her clients and she thrives in creativity. She pays special attention to detail and believes perfection and success are not a destination, they are a journey. Grace is excited about joining the young, dynamic team at the Daniel Galvin Jr salon in Belgravia

Olyvia Abizadeh – Executive Colourist
Working for Daniel Galvin Jr for 15 years, Olyvia has seen first-hand his exquisite colouring skills and made them her own. Getting a buzz from the daily challenge of creating new looks, she finds colouring incredibly rewarding and enjoys establishing relationships with new and existing clients.

With a national and international career spanning over 35 years Amie remains a notable figure in the industry and knows how to deliver exactly what is required. Having gained extensive experience with celebrities, shows and shoots Amie can interpretate the latest trends for the real world. Determining the colour that best suits each clients personality, style and appearance has become her hallmark. Perfect hair colour is the essential “feel good factor” of all discerning clients.
