Tutorial: The wet-look ponytail.

With the arrival of Autumn its not only our wardrobes that need a makeover. The blustery autumn weather can make choosing how to style your hair on a day to day basis a difficult task. One of the new trends that we will see this Autumn is the wet-look ponytail. Although a spin on an old classic, this style is perfect to stand up against the wind and rain, and can be created in 4 easy steps.
1. Start with day-old hair or, use Organic Head Huge Hair Mousse to work into the hair until it feels more malleable.
2. Use a soft bristle brush to bring the hair back into a high ponytail. Secure with a band then use Organic Head Extra Hold Hairspray to give a wet look.
3. Wrap a large section of hair around the base of the ponytail to conceal the band and pin into place.
4.Using a large curling tong take the end of the ponytail and wrap it around the tongs, hold for a few seconds then release. This will give a beautiful soft twist to the hair. Finally use a soft bristle brush to brush through the ponytail and finish off with Organic Head Heat defense and Shine Spray to give that enhanced wet look.
